Nooooooo! Not AJ! Not her!

I am so upset right now that I don't know what to say!

They eliminated AJ!! WTF?! It's like, I got all this curse on my tongue but knew better to say them loud because it'll just surprise even myself.

I wasn't even this upset when they eliminated Elyse or Shandi or Yaya. AJ's my favorite (freak) model of all time! I like her more than Naima. And I know how much I like Naima.

Now I truly believe that ANTM is a dramality. It's not a fair competition. I mean, we encourage talents, not gut feelings.

I hope some agency will pick up AJ. Well, I hope AJ will keep modeling. She will be picked up if she just tries.

AJ, I know you are not into modeling that much, but you have people supporting you. Please, be a model. Or better yet, keep a journal or something. Let your fans keep track of you.

Kids these days. Are unbelievable. Not in a good way.

I know many adults will agree with me. Haha. I'm bitter.

Anyway, here is why I think kids these days are so misguided.

So, like, a few days ago, I translated something and posted it on my other blog (No need to check it out since it's not as interesting as this one, for this blog is about ME. I know, I'm being sarcastic.) I advertised that blog post in a fan community. Y'know, just so the other fans who wasn't good at English could also know what was going on with their idols.

And what happened? Someone summarized my translation and post again in that community. I have no problem seeing people summarize my post, since there are people who ain't good at reading. The problem I had was, he used my exact phrases in his summary, and didn't credit the source. I asked him to credit the source, me, if he was doing that.

Because, hey, use your own brain cells if you are going to do a summary of your own. Otherwise, just read the damn post already and move on!

He said he didn't see the need to credit the source... Right... that's plagiarism to you, m'boy.

I didn't want to argue with him. But I wrote a statement on my blog that no copyright infringement is tolerated. Hoping no more morons will try to piss me off again. Oh... Because I will take actions to protect my rights in the future.

Okay, having said this much. That guy didn't prompt me to write this post, actually, because he was just one. The thing is, a couple more people said something like, "Oh, but in these days, people just repost articles" or "I think it's okay to do that because I see it all the time."

My goodness! People actually think plagiarism is normal.

No wonder the news always says Taiwan's students are not compatible anymore. A cynical comic blog I saw basically hinted plagiarism was the in among Taiwan's higher educations. Like a fashion trend.

What is going on?

Just realized that learning Japanese is soooo not popular in Taiwan. I know many people would disagree with me.

But.

I've tried to find self-learning magazines for a couple of days. The things I've found so far? Not much. There were like, two whole stands of English-learning magazines, but only two Japanese-learning ones! What is going on here? How come people are that desperate to learn English?

And radio programs! Is it true that there is no Japanese-teaching radio programs out there?

Accidentally ran into this show

Last night I was channel-surfing and saw Battlestar Galactica.

It was the first time I came across it. Unbelievable for a sci-fi fan like me. I guess since I was consumed with Star Trek already. I couldn't divide my attention into other fandoms.

I've heard of Battlestar Galactica, big time, from sci-fi forums, and recently, from a show called Canada's Next Top Model. The show host, Tricia Helfer, played a role in it. So, there you got it. This was the reason I stopped and watched the entire episode of Battlestar Galactica last night...

Will I watch it again? Definitely! If I know when it is on.

Even though I picked up the show just last night, I kinda could tell what was going on.

The military declared marshal law, so it's really tense on that station. The vice president, who's also a scientist, had a dark secret and got blackmailed, so he had to do something unethical. The VP was weird, though, because he could hear/see a girl apparently no one else could see. The military head person, who's in command now and was so pussy that he got manipulated by his girlfriend and did something really stupid. The president was locked up by military command, and escaped with the help of the son of some military big-and-important person, who's sick in bed and unconscious. Meanwhile, some dude and a chick who were just trying to kill each other a minute ago were playing a basketball-like sport on a planet. You could just feel the sexual tension between them. Playing a sport, yeah, right. *roll eyes*

The really important conclusion I got was: human-like machines were a big threat to humans, and they were in a war.

Yes. *nod* That summed up the whole thing.

THM's new bag!

THM bought an expensive bag today. It's from Hedgren, even.

We went to the store 10 minutes before its closing, me hoping to find a purse.

I was looking around. Saw a couple of cute ones, but they were a little expensive, I thought. So I didn't get anything.

But THM found one! The list price was $1500 something. $1400 something after discount. The owner talked us into giving him a tax break, so he gave us another 10% off.

It's not legal for doing business, I know. I was a little worried that we couldn't get a recipe that way, but the 10% was tempting. Hedgren say on its website that their warranties ares valid for two years. I'm pretty sure under normal circumstances, THM won't break the bag in two years. Usually, the date of purchase doesn't do any good for a product like this. The makers are proud of their products to know this fact.

We took the bag home for $1200 something. THM even took a picture of it, actually, the ID tag, so that if we lose it and find it somehow, we can claim that we are the righteous owner. Ha!

What a romantic.

===========================================

==經驗談==

I don't even remotely feel sorry for you.

=============================

MeMeDiDi.com

We've got our own .com! haha!

But it got only 25MB of hosting spaces, can't do much about it.

However, we didn't get that domain for hosting something. THM just wanted to "utilize" Microsoft's free Windows Live Custom Domains.

With Custom Domains, we can have our own name@memedidi.com email addresses. No more @yahoo.com or @hotmail.com anymore! It's all free. The only thing you need to pay is a domain name registration fee. It's pretty cheap now. We got it for $4.95/year, with a little disk space attached. I've seen some companies sell domain names for less than 4 dollars a year. So if you want to have your own email address, it's a good way to get it.

If you want to "utilize" this service like we do, and don't have a domain name, check out these cheap domain name registration service providers:

Remember to ask the providers questions and read their terms before signing up!
