I found a perk of doing this job.
Free CD-RW and DVD-RW disks!
Since they need to test their products, disks are necessary. Some tests require testing brand new re-writable disks, so they throw out used ones. I just think it's a waste to throw out those perfectly usable disks. Today I picked out a dozen of disks from their waste bins. Yeah!

New Job
Finally I got a few minutes to write an entry for my blog.
I've been working for this company for three weeks. It's very ironic that the interview for this job was the only one I did badly, but still ended up working for them.
Anyway, so this is a brand new territory for me. I mean, I know there are DVD and CD drives, and R/W and W disks are different things. That's basically it! Who cares what DVD-ROM, DVD-RW, and DVD+RW do? Just burn the damn thing!
Week 4, I haven't done any real work. I've been at training since last week. So what did I do during the first two weeks, you ask? Nothing.
I went to classes here and there, but that's it. So after three days of boredom, I brought my PDA loaded with fictions, and read. I'm almost finished with that Devil and Prada book.
It's very surreal that this company's training program is so slow, and do not have everything ready when new employees come on board. I just got my computer two days ago. What is the problem of getting computers ready before new employees come? I mean, at least I can study instead of reading fictions, right? In my opinion, it's a waste of money. I'm not sure what their share holders will say if they know the situation.
